"Working with Sharon was truly a delight! For several years, I struggled to get the feel of my rooms to fit my personality and couldn't quite get them to come together. Sharon first listened to me and then came up with a plan that fit into our budget and was exactly what I was hoping for".
Jenny Almquist, Founder of Fierce Freedom.
"Count on SDC Designs to always deliver functional living spaces with unparalleled beauty. It is sheer joy to work with this company. I have always appreciated their superior customer engagement: their secret sauce for understanding the intended use of a space, their professionalism and emphasis on timely delivery".

About Me
Sharon Capek, M.Sc. Interior Architecture, Pratt Institute.

As a child, I grew up in a family that embraced a sustainable food culture and used natural methods over processed or synthetic ones regarding nutrition and health. I have been an advocate for sustainable living for many years. Now, I am committed to incorporating these principles into our design process at SDC Designs by making choices that align with our values.
I am passionate about my clients' stories and the design challenges they face because that is where real change begins.

As I listen carefully, I often hear what my clients are not saying. This insight helps me create design concepts for commercial and residential spaces within the built environment.

Transitional living spaces

At SDC Designs, we are introducing the concept of transitional living, where we use design to create solutions for people experiencing challenges during transitions.

You are newlywed, but you were previously single. Congratulations, because marriage is beautiful! How do you share a space with someone who thinks the color red is the new white? How will your space reflect the styles of two individuals who are seemingly opposites?

We kindly ask you to participate in our survey below. Thank you!

Your elderly parents are moving in, and you are trying to make the transition as smooth as possible. What are your options?

As a new empty nester or someone who has been living alone for many years, how do you plan to use the empty spaces in your home that are currently cluttered with items you no longer cherish? Is the solution getting roommates or downsizing by selling your home?

You have always dreamed of having a space in your home that feels more like your sanctuary because it is yours alone. What does that look like?

There are various options available, and SDC Designs is here to help you create spaces that reflect your new life.
