About Me
Sharon Capek, M.Sc. Interior Architecture, Pratt Institute.

I am an author, wife, and mother, and I am honored to be the head of SDC Designs in Greenville, SC.
As a child, I grew up in a family that embraced a pasture-raised food culture, composting, and natural methods over processed or synthetic options concerning nutrition and health. We had several farms in our family, and I have been an advocate for sustainability in my lifestyle for many years. Now, I am committed to incorporating sustainable principles into our design process at SDC Designs by making choices that align with our values.
I am passionate about my clients' stories and the design challenges they face because that is where real change begins.
As I listen carefully, I often pick up on what my clients are not saying. This insight helps me create design concepts for residential spaces within the built environment.

Co-Living Spaces For transitional living

Co-living spaces are modern arrangements promoting community and shared experiences among residents. They feature private bedrooms and shared areas like kitchens and living rooms.
They emphasize collaboration and social interaction, appealing to those who prefer connections over isolation. These spaces are gaining popularity in urban areas for their affordability, convenience, and social engagement opportunities.
At SDC Designs, we are expanding the concept of co-living by addressing the needs of several groups that are facing the challenge of transition.

You are newlyweds, single your entire life, and now you are married. Congratulations, because marriage is beautiful!
How do you share a space with someone who thinks the color red is the new white? How will your space reflect the styles of two individuals who seemingly are opposites?

As a new empty nester or someone who has been living alone for many years, how do you plan to utilize the empty spaces in your home that are currently cluttered instead of filled with cherished items?
Will you consider getting roommates or downsizing by selling your home? There are various options available, and SDC Designs is here to assist you in creating spaces that reflect your new lifestyle.
